2.032 mm (0.080 in) pitch conforms to the MXL industry standard, ensuring drop-in compatibility with MXL pulleys and sprockets across major brands.
3. Full Range of Lengths and Widths:
Stocked in multiple pitch lengths and belt widths within the MXL series, so you can match your exact center distance and pulley width without waiting on a custom order. For examper: 144MXL-12, 144MXL-5mm, 115MXL-10mm, 144MXL-15mm/B180MXL-15MM, 180MXL/B225MXL-15, 224MXL-15, 147MXL-11mm, 85MXL-15, 128MXL-15.
4. Neoprene Body with Fiberglass Cord:
The neoprene compound resists oil, moderate heat, and abrasion, while the fiberglass tension cord limits stretch under load to maintain stable center distance.
5. Synchronous Drive — No Slip:
Positive tooth engagement means rotational position is transferred 1:1 between driver and driven pulleys, critical for stepper-motor-driven axes where lost steps cannot be tolerated.

Why do some belts have two model numbers?
MXL/XL/XXL belts are labeled two ways in the industry:
· A plain number (e.g. 144MXL) = pitch length code
· A "B"-prefixed number (e.g. B180MXL) = tooth count, stated directly
144MXL-15mm and B180MXL-15mm are the same belt—180 teeth,
365.76 mm circumference, 15 mm width. Either code works when ordering.
144-MXL-15 = B180MXL-15
Don't Know Your Belt's Model Number?
Check the belt surface for a printed marking first.
If the marking is worn off or was never printed, follow these steps to identify it yourself:
Step 1: Count the teeth.
Count how many teeth fall within any 10 cm section of the belt.
Step 2: Measure the width.
Measure the belt's tooth-face width in mm.
Step 3: Measure the total length.
Measure the full inside circumference of the belt in mm.
Send us these three numbers (tooth count, width, length) along with a photo of the belt, and we'll match it to the closest stock size or arrange a custom order.
