How do I identify the correct switch for my machine?
A switch is identified by its function in the machine, its physical form and mounting, and its electrical rating, alongside the printer model. Send JOHOPE your machine model with photographs or the part number of the switch in use, and the match is reviewed before any quotation.
Can a switch with the same rating be substituted?
Not on rating alone. Mounting geometry, actuator type and connector all have to match as well, and a switch that is electrically equivalent but mechanically different will not seat or trigger correctly. The physical match is checked before anything is quoted.
