Signs your printhead needs more than a cleaning cycle
When dried or hardened ink sets inside the nozzles, the printer's own cleaning cycle just pushes ink past it. These are the tell-tale signs it's time for a dedicated cleaning solution:

The cleaning process, step by step
The real syringe method from Print Liquid's manual. You'll need: cleaning solution, a curved tray, two 50 ml syringes, lint-free cloth, gloves and 0.3 m of ink tube.
Identify the clog
Print a test strip to find which channel is dropping lines / cobwebbing.
Rinse the head
Remove the head; flush each channel with pure/distilled water until it runs clear.
Inject the solution
Draw 30–50 ml of the ink-matched CLEAN solution and push it through the clogged channel (inlet → outlet).
Soak if severe
For stubborn clogs, soak the head in the solution and repeat until the water line at the nozzle is complete.
Purge & wipe
Blow air through to clear all fluid; wipe the nozzle plate with a lint-free cloth.
Re-ink or protect
Load ink to resume — or apply protective fluid if the head will sit idle.
Press the syringe slowly — hard, fast pressure can damage the nozzle crystals. Don't leave the solution in the head too long, and never mix fluids: UV heads use a clean → repair sequence, and out-of-order mixing can cause a reaction that re-clogs the head.

Common questions
My printhead has been clogged for a couple of days — can it still be saved?
Act fast and the odds are good: around 90% of clogged nozzles recover when you flush the moment they clog. But once dried ink hardens for two days or more, the chance drops sharply and you may be facing a head replacement. That's why we recommend keeping a bottle on hand and cleaning immediately — not "tomorrow".
Which formula do I need for my ink?

Will it damage my printhead?
Used as directed it dissolves the ink rather than scrubbing it. Push the syringe slowly — hard, fast pressure can crack the nozzle crystals — don't leave the solution sitting in the head too long, and follow the fluid order. A full step-by-step guide and operation video are on this page.
How is it different from just running my printer's cleaning cycle?
A cleaning cycle only pushes ink past a blockage — it can't dissolve dried or semi-cured ink. Print Liquid CLEAN is an ink-matched solvent that breaks down the deposit itself, which is exactly why it clears the clogs your cleaning cycle keeps missing.

How do I use it?
The syringe method: print a test strip to find the blocked channel, remove and rinse the head, inject the ink-matched CLEAN solution through the clog, soak if stubborn, purge and wipe, then re-ink — or add protective fluid if the head will sit idle. Why does UV need a REPAIR fluid too?
UV is a two-step process. The REPAIR fluid clears residual cleaning fluid so it can't react with the UV CLEAN solution — running them out of order causes a reaction that re-clogs the head, so the sequence matters.
