Xaar 128/80W Printhead Description
The Xaar 128/80W is a long-established and reliable printhead widely used in coding, marking, and wide-format graphics. Featuring a purple plastic insulator, it offers stable performance and broad media compatibility across various industrial printing systems.
With a native resolution of 200 dpi and an 80 pl drop size, it delivers consistent output for outdoor signage, indoor graphics, barcodes, carton coding, posters, and other marking applications. The printhead supports oil-based, solvent-based, and dye-sublimation inks, making it a flexible choice for many equipment platforms.
Designed with 3.1 mm ink ports, it is recommended for use with 3 mm ID tubing, depending on the ink formulation. The 128/80W also replaces the discontinued Xaar 126/80, offering a dependable and easy-to-integrate upgrade option.
