This printhead GEN5 (MH5420/5440) is suitable for Mimaki JFX500-2131 & UJV500-160 printers. It has two and four colour support, 8 levels of grayscale and up to 600 npi nozzle density. This is the original Mimaki part (number M022626 replacing M013497 and M015068).
The size of the printhead is 89 x 25 x 69 mm (excluding cables), and the head material is made of stainless steel, nickel alloy and epoxy resin adhesive.
The surface of the nozzle plate is coated with stainless steel, the number of nozzles is 4 x 320, the nozzle spacing is 0.1693 mm, and the nozzle density is as high as 600 npi.
The temperature is controlled by integrated heater and thermistor, the operating temperature range can be as high as 80°C, the drop range is 7-35 pl, the injection frequency can be as high as 60 kHz, and the service life is 100 billion times for each nozzle.
