Kyocera Printhead Cleaning Machine – Operating Procedure

| 1. Open the machine cover. | Lift the top cover to access the ports. The two right ports are for pipeline flushing; the two left ports are for reverse-flow cleaning. Remove the bracket. |
| 2. Prepare the internal storage tank. | Open the second-layer compartment, pour in roughly half a tank of cleaning fluid, secure the lid, and close the compartment. |
| 3. Fill the cleaning tank. | Add cleaning solution to the cleaning basin until it reaches the overflow outlet height. |
| 4. Set up the flushing line. | Place the flushing hose into the basin, pre-rinse the pipeline, then attach the printhead to the fixture. |
| 5. Adjust printhead immersion depth. | Raise or lower the bracket so the nozzle surface sits about 2mm below the liquid level. |
| 6. Tune flushing and backwash pressure. | Light: ~1/3 flushing valve open. Standard: flushing half-open, backwash ~1/3. Heavy: increase flushing pressure moderately; avoid prolonged high pressure. |
| 7. Start heating. | Fill to near the outlet port, set the heating temperature, and stay on-site during heating. Refill as the solution evaporates. |

Precautions
- Never let the printhead circuit board (PCB) contact the cleaning fluid—this causes permanent damage
- Do not run ultrasonic cycles longer than recommended—excessive vibration can damage the nozzle
- Drain and clean the tank after every use to prevent residual ink from corroding internal tubing
