1. What is the difference between the Xaar 1003 GS-12C and the GS-12U?

Both printheads feature 1,000 nozzles and support a 12–84 pl drop range with 8 grey levels. The GS-12C is the ceramic variant, calibrated and approved specifically for oil-based ceramic inks, while the GS-12U (Universal) is designed for solvent, UV, and oil-based inks in non-ceramic applications. These variants are not interchangeable. Always confirm the required suffix and ink type before ordering.

2. What is the difference between the Xaar 1003 GS-12C and the GS-6C?

Both are designed for oil-based ceramic ink applications, but they differ in drop size and ink laydown.
