The Mid-Autumn festival is the second most important festival in China after Chinese New Year, which we celebrate heavily in China. It is a festival that originates from the worship of celestial phenomena and evolved from worshiping the moon on Autumn Eve in ancient times. In modern times, people mainly celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival as a time for family reunions. It is said the moon on this day is the brightest and roundest, which has come to mean a family reunion.
Quote an ancient Chinese poem to send to all of you with JOHOPE’s blessings, “Wishing us a long life to share the graceful moonlight, though thousands of miles apart.”
Happy Mid-Autumn Day!
