ColorGATE was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Hanover, Germany. It has supported the printing industry for more than 20 years by providing software for the wide and industrial printing industry. With its extensive customer base, ColorGATE is the European leader in industrial printing software. It has a unique color management technology that supports printing and decorating a variety of materials for packaging, floor and wall coverings as well as textiles and signs. It is a leading supplier of performance-optimized color management and workflow software that standardizes and automates the digital printing market, including decoration and textiles.
In February this year, Ricoh unveiled its growth strategic plan “RICOH Ignite”, which aims to strengthen its product value by expanding its printing technology portfolio. ColorGATE’s investment is the latest part of the program.
