Introduction to Printer Pump-Ink Pump
The ink pump is the heart of the ink supply system. It is used to transport ink to the secondary ink cartridges and continuously pump up the ink in the sub tank to circulate throughout the entire ink system.
The ink pump of a UV printer is different from an ordinary ink pump, and the inside of the ink pump of a UV printer is corrosion-resistant. UV ink itself has chemical components, so the ink pump must have a certain degree of anti-corrosion. When selecting an ink pump, do not choose a non-UV-specific pump.

Characteristics of an Ink Pump
The printer ink pump is a pump used to draw ink. It is a special ink supply device operated by a pump. When the printing machine is working at a high printing speed (such as a rotary printing machine) and consumes a large amount of ink, a pump is needed to draw ink from the container and supply it to the ink supply system;
The basic functions of the ink pump are: to keep the ink at a certain height in the ink fountain; to stir the ink so that its viscosity and fluidity meet the printing requirements.
1. A good ink pump uses new corrosion-resistant engineering plastics and rubber materials, and has oil resistance, acid resistance, corrosion resistance and other properties;
2. Super quiet, low voltage safety, stable operation, small size, light weight, dry grinding (idling) and long life;
3. The pump body is separated from the motor, and the working medium (liquid) has no contact with metal parts from water inlet to water outlet, no mechanical seal, no leakage, and can be idling continuously for a long time, or can be loaded for a long time.
The flow rate per minute of the ink pump is not the higher the better, nor the lower the better. The key is to look at the type and number of printheads that the equipment itself is equipped with. If the flow rate is lower than the required ink volume, the thread and needle will break during the printing process. If the flow rate is higher than the required ink volume, ink dripping and overflowing will occur during the printing process.
Ink Pump Maintenance
During daily use, the ink pump for printing machine does not need to be cleaned every day. Once a week, wipe the ink marks and stains on the surface with a non-woven cloth dipped in alcohol.
Introduction to Printer Pump-Air Pump
The air pump is used to provide the airflow required for the positive and negative pressure of the negative pressure system. It is a crucial voltage stabilizer that ensures the stability of the air pressure of the entire ink system and avoids the lack of ink supply and insufficient ink supply caused by high and low air pressure.

In order to achieve stable air pressure, the machine is equipped with 4 air pumps: two positive pressure pumps on the left and two negative pressure pumps on the right. The positive pressure pump is used to press ink when the equipment automatically cleans the printhead. We do not need to manually control the negative pressure pump. The machine's negative pressure pump is always working, providing a stable negative pressure value, so that the ink will not penetrate downwards or be sucked upwards, achieving uniform and stable ink output.
During the normal printing process of the UV flatbed printer, the air pump does not need to be managed. When the negative pressure value is found to be 0 and not displayed, it means that the air pump is broken and a new one can be replaced.
