Epson F1440 (Replaces Epson DX5 Printhead)
This is a classic good printhead, priced at $860-$1000 per piece (depending on market conditions), and the service life of the printhead is about 2-3 years. This is also a print head with a long history, also released around 2000. EPSON F1440 (DX5) is the most popular printhead in the Epson brand. It can perfectly use water-based dye ink, sublimation ink, eco-solvent ink, UV ink, and other ink types. The market support system for this printhead is very complete and mature. Almost all Chinese and Japanese printer brands have printer models with Epson DX5 printheads.
Epson F1080 (Disassembled Head Known as XP600)
It is an economical water-based ink printhead. It is designed for positioning water-based ink, but everyone uses it to print eco-solvent ink, UV ink, and thermal transfer ink. Its life is about 3-6 months, the longest lasts up to 1.5 years, and the price is $150-$250 per piece (changes with market conditions). Printer brands love it because they plan to make simple printers and sell them in high volumes. The Epson XP600 printhead released around 2018 is a 6-channel printhead. The color saturation of the XP600 will be worse than that of the DX5 and i3200. But with its very cheap price and moderate stability, it is widely accepted by the market. Epson I3200 (Water-Based Disassembled Head Also Called 4720)
Epson I3200 printheads are divided into three types of printheads, I3200-A1 printhead (water-based ink), I3200-E1 printhead (eco-solvent ink), and I3200-U1 printhead (UV ink). They were also released around 2018, with prices ranging from $800 to $1,000 (depending on market conditions). Like the XP600, printer brands love it. It is the best-selling printhead after the DX5 printhead. The I3200 print head uses thin-film piezoelectric (TFP) technology, and the head life is similar to that of the DX5. The advantages of i3200 are more than 3200 nozzles, a resolution of 600DPI, and a higher injection frequency than DX5 and XP600. It performs better in terms of color saturation, printing speed, printing accuracy, etc., and is cost-effective. It is popular in eco-solvent ink, UV ink, sublimation ink textile ink, DTF white ink, and heat transfer ink.
